George Johnstone Trail. A historic walking trail in the community of Teslin honouring a Tlingit First Nation leader and innovator. The trail leads to a museum, picnic area and viewing decks. The trail is used for dog walking and hiking. [ more information ] |

Nisutlin River Delta Wildlife Area. A large river delta near Teslin which is a recreation destination for canoeing, birdwatching amd wildlife watching. The delta is a feeding ground for thousands of local and migratory birds and home to many wildife species. [ more information ] |

Teslin Lake. A 78 kilometre long lake is part of the Southern Lakes waterway system near the community of Teslin. The lake is a recreation destination for boating, canoeing, fishing, birdwatching, wildlife watching and sightseeing. [ more information ] |

6 Mile River | Tagish Lake. The community of Tagish is located on 6 Mile River, also known as Tagish River. The river connects Marsh Lake and Tagish Lake. Popular for fishing, boating and canoeing. [ more information ] |

White Mountain. Hiking Trail with limstone rock viewpoint and also home to 16 rock climbing routes on three walls. Some of the best climbing in the Yukon located east of Tagish. Wildlife includes mountain goats and Golden Eages. [ more information ] |

Bennett Lake. Carcross rests on the shores of Bennett Lake. Activities enjoyed include fishing, boating, sailing, canoeing, swimming and backpacking. In the winter months the chain of lakes become snowmobile routes and ice fishing destinations. [ more information ] |

Bove Island Lookout. The lookout, near Carcross, provides views of Tagish Lake, Bove Island, Mount Conrad, Nares Mountain and Lime Mountain. The lookout is a good opportunity to view a portion of this historic canoe route exploring Tagish Lake. [ more information ] |

Chilkoot Trail. The Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site of Canada is a 53 kilometre backpacking trail spanning from Skagway, Alaska, USA to Carcross, Yukon Territory, Canada. The historic hiking route was a major transportation route during the Yukon Gold Rush. [ more information ] |
